Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

Quadrifoglio model shown in illustration base model similar.

NOTE:

Removal and installation process is the same for both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Position the strut assembly in place on the vehicle, engaging the upper studs in the body and the fork in the lower control arm.
  2. Engage the upper control arm to the knuckle and install a NEW  mounting bolt and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Engage the stabilizer bar link to strut assembly and install a NEW  mounting nut (1b) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Position the brake tube retaining bracket (2a) in its housing and install the mounting bolt and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install a NEW  strut assembly to lower control arm mounting bolt and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Engage the wheel speed sensor wire retainer to the bracket.

  7. Install the upper strut assembly to body mounting nut (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  8. If equipped connect the shock solenoid valve electrical harness connector (2).
  9. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Connect the negative battery cable.
  11. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
