QUADRIFOGLIO - Carbon Ceramic: Installation

NOTE:

The rear brake caliper installation process is the same for both sides of the vehicle.

  1. Install the brake pads into the caliper with the arrows (1) facing in the forward direction.

  2. Install a NEW  anti-rattle spring (2a) into the caliper and insert the brake pad retainer pins (2b).

  3. Install the electrical harness connector (1b) in the retaining bracket and install a new zip tie (1a).

  4. Install the rear brake caliper (1a) complete with brake pads onto the rear knuckle and tighten the brake caliper bolts (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Connect the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (2).

  6. Install the brake hose (1b) to the brake caliper and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  7. Install the hose in the bracket and install the retaining clip (1a) and tighten the brake tube nut (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  8. Remove the brake pedal holding tool.
  9. Bleed the brakes. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  10. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  12. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle
