Removal And Installation: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the cowl panel. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the brake reservoir cap and siphon as much fluid as possible from the brake master cylinder reservoir

Disconnect the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module electrical harness connector (1).

Disconnect the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module electrical harness connector (1).
Remove the brake fluid reservoir (1b) to ABS module mounting screw (1a).

Remove the brake fluid reservoir (1b) to ABS module mounting screw (1a).
Remove the brake fluid reservoir (1b) from the ABS Module.

Remove and DISCARD the brake fluid reservoir gaskets (1).
