Rear QUADRIFOGLIO - Carbon Ceramic: Removal
NOTE:
When replacing the rear brake disc, connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC), select "ABS" and start the "Brembo® information CCM service reset" procedure.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the parking brake caliper. Refer to CALIPER, PARKING BRAKE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator electrical harness connector (1).
- Remove the mounting bolts (2a), remove the brake caliper (2b) without disconnect the tube and secure it appropriately aside.
- Remove the mounting bolts (1a) and remove the rear brake disc (1b).
