Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Release the electrical harness connector (1) for the front wheel speed sensor from the bracket and disconnect it.

    NOTE:

    Keep the rear wheel speed sensor away from magnetic fields.

  5. Release the wiring from the intermediate brackets, undo the mounting screw (1a) and remove the front wheel speed sensor (1b).
