Removal And Installation: Removal
- Support the decklid with a suitable prop or block to prevent it from closing.
- Loosen the seal (1a), remove the push fastener (2a) then lower the left
trunk trim panel (1b).
- Using a small flat bladed tool (1a), or equivalent, release the retaining clip (1b) while pulling the ball socket.
- Release and remove the gas prop ends (1b).
