Removal And Installation: Installation
NOTE:
When the spoiler is removed for repair or replacement, the gaskets at the spoiler attachment locations should be replaced.
- Remove any glue residue on the body and the spoiler (1b).
- Clean the mating surfaces with heptane.
- Apply new double sided body tape (1a) to the spoiler.
- Position the spoiler onto the decklid and position the location pins (1c).
- Press firmly along the length of the spoiler, to fully engage the body tape.
- Install the nuts (1a) and tighten securely.
- Install the decklid trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
