Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the inner belt molding. Refer to MOLDING, DOOR BELT, INNER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, MOLDING, DOOR BELT, OUTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Working on the door panel, disconnect the wire harness connector (1a) and the led lighting unit (1b).
4. Disengage the wiring (2a) from the retainer (2b).
5. Remove the screws (3a) securing the interior handle (3b).
6. Remove the interior handle (3b) by releasing the retainers (4a).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the interior handle (1a) and engage the retainers (1b).
2. Tighten the screws (2).
3. Engage the wiring (3a) with the retainer (3b).
4. Connect the wire harness connector (4a) and led lighting unit (4b).
5. Install the inner belt molding. Refer to MOLDING, DOOR BELT, INNER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, MOLDING, DOOR BELT, OUTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
