Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Release the push pins (1a) using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, and remove the cover (2a).

2. Remove the screws (1a) securing the safety latch (1b).
3. Disconnect the retainer (2a) and then the retainer (2b) of the release cable (2c).
4. Remove the safety latch (1b).

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the retainer (1a) and then the retainer (1b) of the release cable (1c) to the safety latch (1d).
2. Install the safety latch (1d) then tighten the screws (2a) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

3. Install the front cover (1a).
4. Install the push pins (2a) and seat fully.
