Split Seatback: Removal

Remove the split rear seatback from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT BACK, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
If performing this on the 60% seatback, remove the second row seat armrest. Refer to ARMREST, SECOND ROW, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Raise the headrest (1). Press the releases (2a and 2b) and remove the headrest.

Position the trim aside, using a small flat bladed tool push the retainer (1) and pull out the headrest guides (2).

Pull out the fastening strip (1) around the perimeter of the seatback panel (3).
Remove the bolt (2) and the pivot bracket.

Pull the cover (1) from the foam (3) and remove the hog rings (2).
