With Sunroof: Installation

NOTE:

In the event the headliner is damaged or creased during installation, it will need to be replaced with a new headliner.

Use clean gloves or make sure your hands are clean before removing the headliner.

  1. With the help of an assistant, position the headliner into the vehicle and hold it into place.
  2. Connect the wire harness connector to the sunroof motor harness.
  3. Connect the wire harness connectors at the front headliner speakers.
  4. Connect the wire harness connector to the rearview mirror.
  5. Fasten the hook and loop fasteners around the sunroof openings.
  6. Connect the wire harness connector on the rear shelf.
  7. Fasten the door seals (1a) at all four door openings, where they meet the headliner.

  8. Install the two supports (1a) into headliner engaging the inner retainer (1b). Then install the covers.
  9. Install the grab handles. Refer to HANDLE, GRAB, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Install the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, C-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, C-PILLAR TRIM, LOWER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  11. Install the upper B-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the overhead console. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  13. Install the visors and supports. Refer to VISOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  14. Install the A-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  15. Install the rear shelf panel. Refer to PANEL, REAR SHELF, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  16. Install the floor console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  17. Install the front seats. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  18. Install the right front door. Refer to DOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  19. Connect the negative battery cable.
