Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Starting at the roof-line, use a trim tool to release the clips of the trim cover (1a), then lift off to remove.
- Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the clips (2b) on each side of the mirror trim cover (2a) and remove.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (1a) from the rear view mirror (1b).
- Grasp the rear view mirror (1b) by the base (2a) and rotate it clockwise approximately 90 degrees and remove.
