Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. With aid of an assistant holding the decklid (3b), position it and loosely install the bolts (4a).
  2. Align the decklid with the reference mark made previously and tighten the decklid hinge (3a) to decklid bolts (4a) to the proper specification.. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Route the wiring harness (2b) and connect the wire harness connectors (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, and 1g)
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Check and adjust the decklid if necessary. Refer to DECKLID, ADJUSTMENTS .
  6. Install the decklid trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
