Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Working in the interior handle compartment, insert a small bladed screwdriver in the slot (1a), then release and remove the trim (1b).

3. Working in the grab handle compartment, release and remove the trim (1a), using a trim stick or equivalent.

4. Remove the screws (1a) for the inner panel (1b).

5. Release the internal retainers (1a) from the interior panel (1b) with a trim stick or equivalent, and gently disconnect the interior panel from the door frame.
6. Gently lift up the panel (1b) to release the inner belt molding (2a) from the door frame upper profile.

7. Working on the inside of the interior panel (1a), release the retainer (1b), then the terminal retainer (1c) of the door lock control cable (1d).
8. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2a) for the interior panel wiring.
9. Remove the inner panel (1a).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the interior panel (1a) and connect the wire harness connector (1b) for the interior panel wiring.
2. Engage the terminal retainer (2a) then the retainer (2b) for the lock control cable (2c).

3. Engage the inner belt molding (1a) of the interior panel (1b) on the door frame upper profile.
4. Position the upper interior panel (1b) and engage the internal retainers (2a).

5. Tighten the screws (1a) for the inner panel (1b).
6. Install the trim in the grab handle compartment.
7. Install the trim in the interior handle compartment.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
