Removal And Installation: Installation
NOTE:
With assistance, support the decklid while the hinges are being installed.
- Place the decklid hinge (1b) onto the vehicle and install the bolts (1a).
- Tighten the decklid hinge to body bolts (1a) to the proper specification.. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Loosely install the bolts (4a).
- Align the decklid hinge (3a) with the reference mark made previously and tighten the decklid hinge to decklid bolts to the proper specification.. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Route the wire harness (1b) and fasten the clips (1a). This is on the left side only.
- Check the decklid for proper alignment and operation, adjust if necessary.
- Install the hinge cover (1b).
- Install the trunk trim panels as necessary.
