Apply a double layer of adhesive tape (1a) along the perimeter of the roof molding (1b).
Progressively lift the molding (1b) starting at the far front edge, releasing its adhesive surface (2a) from the housing (2b).
Remove the molding (1b).
NOTE:
Once the molding has been removed it cannot be reused.

NOTE:

If ambient temperatures are below 21° C (70° F), warm the applique and body panel with a heat lamp or gun to assure proper adhesion.

INSTALLATION

Remove the double layer of adhesive tape (1) from the roof.
Remove all the adhesive residue left by the moved molding from the housing (2a).
Clean and thoroughly degrease the area (2a) involved in the bonding of the molding using heptane.
Test fit the new molding (4a).
Remove the film protecting the adhesive surface (5a) of the new molding, then immediately position the molding in its housing. Bond the adhesive surface, applying pressure on the molding by hand. To facilitate the molding positioning, we advise you to remove the protective film from the adhesive surface (5a) as you go along, starting from the front edge.
NOTE:
Do not touch the adhesive surface by hand during installation.
