Installation-Front Floor Carpet

  1. Position the front floor carpet (1a) and tuck it under the lower B-pillar trim panel (1b).

  2. If right front carpet was removed, install the access cover (1a) and tighten its fasteners (1b) to secure the cover.
  3. If the left front carpet was removed, install the accelerator pedal. Refer to PEDAL, ACCELERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 2.0LPEDAL, ACCELERATOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 2.8L .
  4. Install the cowl side trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the floor console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the driver or passenger front seat as necessary. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
