Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Lower the front window to the end of travel position (to protect it).
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Release the retainer (1a), then disconnect the electrical connection (1b) for the door.

4. Remove the check strap (1b) screw (1a) to the door, then close the door momentarily so that the strap goes inside.
5. Remove the screws (2) for the hinges.
6. Lift up and remove the door (3).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the door (1) on the hinges.
2. Install the screws (2) for the hinges and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Pull out the check strap (3a) out and tighten the screw (3b) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

4. Connect the electrical connection (1a) and engage the relative retainer (1b).
5. Check the door alignment and, if necessary, make out the following adjustments. Refer to DOOR, ADJUSTMENTS .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Check that the various functions on the door are working.
