Removal And Installation: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the applique. Refer to APPLIQUE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Remove the upper trim panel. Refer to Refer to, PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Release the retaining button (1a) fixing the rear of the weatherstrip (1b), with a trim stick.

5. Remove the weatherstrip (1a), releasing it from its seat.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the weatherstrip (1a) and secure it in place.
   NOTE:

   If necessary, use soapy water to fit the weatherstrip in its housing more easily.

2. Engage the button (1a) securing the rear of the weatherstrip (1b).
3. Install the upper trim panel. Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Install the applique. Refer to APPLIQUE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
