Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Release the wire harness connectors (1a, 1b) from the retainer, then disconnect them.
  4. Remove the bolts (2a) and remove the rear view mirror (2b), releasing its wiring (2c) from the door frame.

INSTALLATION

  1. Position the rear view mirror (1a), engaging its wiring (1b) with the door frame.
  2. Tighten the bolts (2) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the wire harness connectors (3) then engage them in their housing.
  4. Install the upper trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
