Removal And Installation: Right: Removal-Right

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery terminal.
  2. Remove the push fasteners (1a) and the cover (2a), that covers the right hood latch.

  3. Release the cable retainer (1b), then remove the cable end (1c).
  4. Position the cable (1d) aside.
  5. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood latch to aid in installation.
  6. Remove the two bolts (2a) and lift the hood latch.
  7. Release the cable retainer (3a), then remove the cable end (3b).
  8. Remove the right hood latch from the vehicle.
