Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Open the sunshade fully.
  2. Remove the front sunroof glass. Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, GLASS, SUNROOF, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Close the sunroof so that the glass mechanism is fully forward.
  4. Remove the protective seal (1a), releasing it from its profile (1b) from the sliding guide.
  5. Remove the wind deflector. Refer to DEFLECTOR, WIND, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Lower the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Remove the sunroof motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Remove the sunshade motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF SHADE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  9. Remove the sunshade. Refer to SUNSHADE, SUNROOF, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  10. Working at the rear of the guide (1a), remove the screws (1b) and loosen the cable (1c).
  11. Remove the screws (2a).
  12. Lower the guide and pull the drive cable (3a) out from the cable tube (1c).
