Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Working on the trim panel, disconnect the wire harness connection (1a) and the led lighting unit (1b).
  4. Release the wiring (2a) from the retainers (2b).
  5. Remove the screws (3a) securing the interior handle (3b).
  6. Remove the interior handle (3b) by releasing the retainers (4a).
  7. Remove the switch if necessary. Refer to SWITCH, LOCK, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the switch if necessary. Refer to SWITCH, LOCK, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Position the interior handle (1a) and secure the retainers (1b).
  3. Securely tighten the screws (2).
  4. Secure the wiring (3a) with the retainers (3b).
  5. Connect the wire harness connection (4b) and led lighting unit (4a).
  6. Install the trim panel. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
