Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. To remove the LEFT silencer panel, perform the following.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery terminal.
  3. Using a trim stick, remove the LEFT floor console side panel (1a).

  4. Remove the screws from locations (1a).
  5. Using a trim stick, release the clips (2a).
  6. Slightly lower the LEFT silencer panel (1b), disconnect the wire harness connectors (3a and 3b) and remove.
  7. To remove the RIGHT silencer panel, perform the following.
  8. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery terminal.
  9. Using a trim stick, remove the RIGHT floor console side panel.
  10. Remove the passenger side cowl trim panel. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  11. Remove the screws from locations (1a).
  12. Using a trim stick, release the clips (2a and 2b).
  13. Slightly lower the RIGHT silencer panel (1b), disconnect the wire harness connectors (3a and 3b) and remove.
