Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Pull out the load floor (1a) and remove the cargo hooks.

  2. Remove the rear trunk trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRUNK TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, PANEL, TRUNK TRIM, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to SEAT BACK, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Refer to, SEAT BACK, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the side storage compartment.
  6. Loosen the seal (1a) around the decklid opening.
  7. Disconnect the fuel filler door release cable.
  8. Using a trim stick, remove the push fasteners (2a) and the trunk trim panel (1b).

  9. If necessary, remove the sound insulation lining (1a).
