Removal And Installation: Removal
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to SEATS, FIRST ROW, WARNING .
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the front seat back cover and cushion as an assembly. Refer to COVER, SEAT BACK, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .NOTE:
It is not necessary to completely remove the cover from the cushion.
- Remove the seat air bag. Refer to AIR BAG, SEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1a) from the lumbar adjustment motor.
- Cut the strap (2a) fastening the lumbar adjustment motor to the frame.
- Remove the spring hooks (3a) from the seat back frame.
- Remove the lumbar adjustment motor complete with the seat back spring (4).
