Split Seatback: Removal

Release the rear seat cushion (1) and position aside as shown in illustration. Refer to SEAT CUSHION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
If equipped with heated seat backs, disconnect the wire harness connector located under the seat cushion.
Remove the rear seat bolster. Refer to BOLSTER, SEAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Unlatch the seat backs and lower them.
NOTE:
The 40% seatback must be removed first.

Remove the bolt (1) and pull the 40% seatback (2) off the pivot shaft (3).

Remove the bolt (1) and remove the 60% seatback (2) from the center pivot bracket (3).
