Power Sunshade: Removal

NOTE:

It is not necessary to completely remove the headliner from the vehicle.

  1. Lower the headliner, in vehicle. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the sunshade motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF SHADE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the clips (1a) that fasten the cable tubes (1b).
  4. Remove the screws (2a) that fasten the cable assemble (2b).
  5. Remove the screws (3a) at each side of the sunshade (3b).

  6. Release the cable tubes (1a) from the sunroof frame, the move the sunshade assembly rearward.
  7. Slide the cable (1c) from the guide slot (1d).
  8. Slide the sunshade ends (1f) from the guide slot (1g).
  9. Remove the sunshade.
