Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. If equipped with a manual seat height adjuster (1b)  , remove the seat height lever cover (1a).

  3. Remove the seat height lever screw (1a) and remove the seat height lever (2a).

  4. If equipped with a recliner lever (1a)  , release the clip (1b) and remove the handle.

  5. Remove the screws (1a) at the front and back of the side shield (1b).

  6. Lift at the rear edge to release the rear retainers (1b), then push forward and lift to remove.

  7. If equipped with power options  , disconnect the wire harness connectors (2a and 2b) and unclip the harness (3a) from the side shield.

  8. Remove the two screws (1a), then lift to release the clip (2a) and remove the side shield (1b).
