Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the rear shelf panel. Refer to PANEL, REAR SHELF, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Working on the underside of the package shelf (1a), disconnect wiring harness connector (1b) from the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL).
4. Remove the fasteners (2a).
5. Remove the CHMSL.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the CHMSL and the wiring harness connector integrity.

2. Position the CHMSL (1a) and securely tighten the fasteners (1b).
3. Connect the wiring harness connector (2a) to the CHMSL.
4. Install the rear shelf panel. Refer to PANEL, REAR SHELF, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
