Removal And Installation: Front

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Working in the right front suspension area, disengage the headlamp leveling sensor (1c) link rod (1b) from the ball joint (1a).
4. Remove the fastener (2a) to move the sensor (1c) from the housing.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3a) from the sensor (1c).
6. If needed, remove the ball joint pin (5a).
7. Remove the sensor from the vehicle

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the integrity of the sensor and wiring harness connector.

2. If removed, install the ball joint pin (1a).
3. Connect the wire harness connector (2a) to the sensor (2b).
4. Position the sensor (2b) in place and securely tighten the fastener (3a).
5. Engage the link rod to the ball joint (4a).
6. Install the right front wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
7. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
8. Perform the headlamp alignment procedure. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
