Low Beam Bulb

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

2. Remove the access cover fasteners (1a), and release the cover retainers (1c) and cover (1b) located in the front wheel house splash shield.

3. Remove the front lamp access cover (1a) from the lamp unit.

4. Rotate the bulb socket (1a) in a counter-clockwise direction and remove it from the housing.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2a) from the low beam headlamp socket base (1a).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the bulb, bulb socket and the wire harness connector integrity.

2. Connect the wire harness connector (1a) to the bulb socket base (1b).
3. Position the bulb socket assembly (1b) and rotate it clockwise in the front lamp unit housing until it is properly installed.

4. Install the lamp access cover (1a).

5. Position the front wheel house splash shield access cover (1a) by engaging the retainers (1b), then install and securely tighten the fasteners (1c).
6. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
