Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Lower the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the antenna wire harness connector (2a).
  4. Remove the antenna to roof panel bolt (1a).

  5. Remove the antenna assembly (1a), by releasing the retainers (1b) from the roof of the vehicle.

  6. If necessary, remove the screws (1a) and carefully separate the covering (1b) of the antenna base (1c).
