Removal And Installation - Rear USB Charge Port: Removal

NOTE:

Take the proper precautions to protect the instrument panel from cosmetic damage. 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Using a suitable tool, remove the floor console rear cover (1a) by releasing the four retaining clips (1c).
  3. Disconnect the USB port wiring harness connector (2a).

  4. Remove the two media hub to floor console rear cover screws (1), and remove the media hub (2).
