Removal And Installation: Installation
- If removed, position the cover (1a) on the antenna base (1b), install and securely tighten the screws (1c).
- Be sure that the antenna base seal (1a) and the roof surface (1c) are clean.
- Install the antenna (1b) into the antenna mount opening on the roof. Be sure that the antenna base retainers (2b) are fully engaged.
- Install the antenna retaining bolt (1b) and securely tighten.
- Connect the antenna wire harness connector (2a).
- Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
- Verify operation outside with a clear line of sight not obstructed by trees or buildings.
