Door Speaker: Removal

NOTE:

Front door shown in illustration, rear door similar.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the door trim panel or. Refer to PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REFLECTOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1a).
  4. Remove the three speaker screws (2a).
  5. Remove the speaker (1b) from the door panel.
