Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Using a trim stick or equivalent at the rear of the microphone (1b), disengage the microphone retaining tabs (1c) from the headliner.
- Pull the microphone (1b) rearward to disengage the front retaining tab (1d) from the headliner.
- Pull the microphone (1b) out of the headliner far enough to expose the microphone wire harness connector (2b).
- Pull the wire harness connector insulator (2a) back to expose the connector and disconnect the microphone connector from the headliner wire harness connector.
- Remove the microphone from the vehicle.
