The instrument cluster is inoperative
  • CJB fuse(s):
    • 14 (10A).
    • 23 (15A).
  • Circuitry.

 Go To PINPOINT TEST A .
Incorrect fuel gauge indication
  • CJB fuse 23 (15A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Fuel indicator module.
  • Instrument cluster.
  • Fuel pump module.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST B .
Incorrect temperature gauge indication
  • CJB fuse 23 (15A).
  • Circuitry.
  • Engine coolant temperature sender.

Incorrect oil pressure gauge indication
  • CJB fuse 23 (15A).

  • BRAKE warning indicator miniature bulb.
  • Brake fluid level switch.

  • Ignition switch.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST H .
The BRAKE warning indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Parking brake switch.
  • Brake fluid level switch.
  • Bulb check relay.
  • Ignition switch.
 Check system for proper operation and repair as necessary.
The CHECK ENGINE indicator is never on
  • Circuitry.
  • PCM.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST I .
The CHECK ENGINE indicator is always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Powertrain control module (PCM).
  • Instrument cluster.
 REFER to SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - EEC-V - GASOLINE & NGV .
The safety belt warning indicator is inoperative (chime is operative)
  • Circuitry.
  • Safety belt buckle switch.

 Go To PINPOINT TEST J .
The CHECK AIR SUSPENSION indicator is never/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Battery junction box (BJB) fuse 8 (30A).
  • Air suspension/electronic variable orifice (EVO) module.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST K .
The LH turn indicator is never/always on
  • Circuitry.
  • Multifunction switch.
  • Instrument cluster.
 Go To PINPOINT TEST L .
The RH turn indicator is never/always on
  • Circuitry.

The high beam indicator is never on
