Exterior Lights (MICU) Input Test
NOTE:
- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A - Refer to: Body Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A - Initial Communication and DTC ChecksBody Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode 1 and Test Mode 2 (without the HDS)Body Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode B - Control Unit Not CommunicatingBody Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode C - No DTCs and Output Won't Shut OFFBody Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode D - No DTCs and Output Won't Turn ON .
- Before testing, make sure the No. A2-4 (30 A), No. A19 (10 A), No. A24 (10 A), No. A25 (10 A), No. A26 (20 A), and No. A29 (10 A) fuses in the under-hood fuse/relay box are OK.
- Before testing, make sure the No. B5 (10 A), No. B21 (7.5 A)*1 , No. B34 (10 A), No. B37 (20 A)*2 , No. B38 (10 A), and No. B39 (10 A) fuses in the under-dash fuse/relay box are OK.

1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode
2. Disconnect the following connectors.
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector B (44P)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector C (38P)

Under-dash fuse/relay box connector T (20P)
Under-dash fuse/relay box connector W (24P)
3. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact:
- If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals are OK, go to step 4.
4. With the connectors still disconnected, do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 5.

5. Reconnect the connectors to the under-dash fuse/relay box, do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the MICU must be faulty; replace the under-dash fuse/relay box .
