High Temperature Pressurized Coolant Bottle: Removal

  1. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the front bumper. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM  .
  5. Remove the right cold air inlet tube to the turbocharger. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  6. Remove the degassing hose (1), tank side.
  7. Remove the bolts (2a) and the tank (2b) from the retaining flexible mounting.

  8. Remove the coolant hose quick connect coupling (1a) and remove the pressurized coolant bottle (1b).
