Turbocharger Charge Air Water Cooler Water Pump

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Drain the turbocharger charge air water cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM
.
- Release the clips and remove the quick connectors (1) of the coolant supply hoses to the charge air water coolers.
- Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the quick connector (1) of the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump.
- Disconnect the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the bolts (1) securing the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump support bracket.
- Remove the bolt (1a), the bracket (1b), and turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump (1c) complete with hoses.
- Release the clamp (1) and remove the inlet hose from the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump.
- Release the clamp (2) and remove the supply hoses to the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump.
INSTALLATION
- Install the supply hoses to the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump and tighten the clamp.
- Install the inlet pipe to the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump and tighten the clamp.
- Install the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump complete with hoses, bracket, and securely tighten the bolt.
- Install the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump support bracket, bolts and securely tighten the bolts.
- Connect the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump wire harness connector.
- Install the quick connector for the turbocharger charge air water cooler water pump.
- Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector
- Install the quick connector for the coolant supply hoses to the charge air water coolers.
- Fill the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
