LT Radiator Temperature Sensor

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .

3. Open the clips and disconnect the quick connectors of the coolant supply hoses to the Charge Air Coolers (CAC).

4. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).
5. Remove the coolant temperature sensor (2).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the coolant temperature sensor (1) and tighten it to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS GAS ENGINE  .
2. Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.
3. Connect the quick connector of the coolant supply pipes to the Charge Air Coolers (CAC).
4. Fill the turbocharger cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING THE TURBOCHARGER COOLING SYSTEM  .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
