Diagnostic Test

- CHECK BETWEEN THE AUXILIARY COOLING PUMP RELAY AND PCM-1 CONNECTION
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on Auxiliary Cooling Pump relay R2 of the front relay and fuse base or on the PCM-1.
Are there any loose or damaged connections?
Yes
- Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
No
- Go To 2
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on Auxiliary Cooling Pump relay R2 of the front relay and fuse base or on the PCM-1.
- CHECK THE AUXILIARY COOLING PUMP RELAY AND PCM-1 WIRING FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
- Check for a short circuit to ground in the wiring between the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2 of the front relay and fuse base and PIN 38 of PCM-1 connector on vehicle side.
Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring?
Yes
- Repair the wiring and connections as necessary insulation to ground.
No
- Go To 3
- Check for a short circuit to ground in the wiring between the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2 of the front relay and fuse base and PIN 38 of PCM-1 connector on vehicle side.
- AUXILIARY COOLING PUMP RELAY OPERATION CHECK
- Check the correct operation of the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2 of the front relay and fuse base.
Is the operation incorrect? of the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2 of the front relay and fuse base
Yes
- Replace the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2-30A of the front relay and fuse base.
No
- End of diagnosis.
- Check the correct operation of the Auxiliary Cooling Pump R2 of the front relay and fuse base.
