Diagnostic Test

- FUEL VAPOR RECOVERY SYSTEM LEAK CHECK
- Check for leaks in the Fuel vapor recovery system.
Are there any leaks?
Yes
- Repair the leaks as necessary and restore correct operation.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Go To 2
- Check for leaks in the Fuel vapor recovery system.
- CHECK USING DIAGNOSIS EQUIPMENT
- Connect the diagnosis equipment to the master engine control module and check for errors related to the Evap Purge Solenoid 1.
Is the Evap Purge Solenoid 1 operating properly?
Yes
- End of diagnosis.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Evap Purge Solenoid 1.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
- Connect the diagnosis equipment to the master engine control module and check for errors related to the Evap Purge Solenoid 1.
