CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- With the scan tool, create a Vehicle Scan Report and attach it to the repair order.NOTE:
This is an informational DTC to inform you that a DTC is stored in the TCM.
- With the scan tool, read the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Perform the applicable TCM diagnostic procedure(s). Refer to 8HP75 - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
NOTE:Erase this DTC in the PCM after all Transmission DTCs have been repaired.
No
- Review the Vehicle Scan Report and Repair any other DTCs that have set with the appropriate procedure in Service Information.
