Diagnostic Test

- CHECK USING DIAGNOSIS EQUIPMENT
- Connect the diagnosis equipment to the master engine control module, enter "Miscellaneous functions" and check whether the "Neutral and first gear signal learning" procedure has been carried out.
Is the Has the procedure been carried out?
Yes
- Go to 2.
No
- Perform the "Neutral and first gear signal learning" procedure.
- Connect the diagnosis equipment to the master engine control module, enter "Miscellaneous functions" and check whether the "Neutral and first gear signal learning" procedure has been carried out.
- CHECK NEUTRAL POSITION SENSOR OPERATION
- Check that the neutral position sensor is operating correctly.
Is the Neutral position sensor operating correctly?
Yes
- End of diagnosis.
No
- Replace the neutral position sensor.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
- Check that the neutral position sensor is operating correctly.
