Diagnostic Test

- COOLING FAN RELAY AND PCM-1 CONNECTION CHECK
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the Cooling Fan Module or on the PCM-1.
Are there any loose or damaged connections?
Yes
- Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Go To 2
- Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the Cooling Fan Module or on the PCM-1.
- CHECK THE COOLING FAN MOTOR FOR ANY OBSTRUCTIONS
- Check for any obstructions of the Cooling Fan Motor.
Were any obstructions found?
Yes
- Repair the obstruction as necessary.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Cooling Fan Assembly.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
- Check for any obstructions of the Cooling Fan Motor.
