- CHECK IF THE IMPACT HAS EFFECTIVELY TAKEN PLACE
- This error is stored after fuel pump deactivation due to the intervention of the Airbag Control Module in the event of an impact. Check if the impact has effectively taken place.
Has Impact actually taken place?
Yes
- Connect the diagnosis equipment to the Body Computer control unit, enter active diagnosis and carry out the procedure "Inertia Switch Reset (FIS)."
No
- Go to 2.
- This error is stored after fuel pump deactivation due to the intervention of the Airbag Control Module in the event of an impact. Check if the impact has effectively taken place.
- CHECK FOR AIRBAG CONTROL MODULE FAULTS USING SCAN TOOL
- Connect the scan tool to the Airbag Control Module and check for the presence of errors.
Are there Errors present?
Yes
- Proceed as indicated by the scan tool. Replace any Airbags which operated after the impact.
No
- End of diagnosis.
- Connect the scan tool to the Airbag Control Module and check for the presence of errors.
