Diagnostic Test

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
    1. With the scan tool, read Powertrain Control Module 1 (PCM-1) DTCs and Freeze Frame Data and record on the repair order.
    2. Using the recorded Freeze Frame Data and the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
    3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Is the DTC active or pending?

      Yes

      • Go To  2

      No

  2. CHECK FOR OTHER DTCS
    1. Refer to the recorded DTCs.

Are there any Boost Pressure Sensor circuit faults or Bank 1 MAP Sensor DTCs active or pending?

      Yes

      • Perform the applicable diagnostic procedure(s). Refer to DTC INDEX .

      No

      • Go To  2
  3. CHECK THE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM AND INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR LEAKS
    1. Visually inspect for leaks or damage to the intake air supply plumbing.
    2. Check for vacuum leaks at the Intake Manifold.

Are there any leaks or damage to the intake air supply plumbing or Intake Manifold?
