Diagnostic Test

BANK 2 MAP SENSOR AND ENGINE CONTROL MODULE CONNECTIONS CHECK
1. Check for loose, damaged or corroded connections on the Bank 2 MAP Sensor or on the slave engine control module.
  Are there any loose or damaged connections?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring connections as necessary.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go to 2.
CHECK THE WIRING BETWEEN BANK 2 MAP SENSOR AND ENGINE CONTROL MODULE
1. Check for a short circuit to ground in the wiring between the Bank 2 MAP Sensor and PIN 38 of the connector on the engine side of the slave engine control module.
  Is there a short circuit to ground in the wiring?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the wiring and connections as necessary insulation to ground.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go to 3.
BANK 2 MAP SENSOR OPERATION CHECK
1. Check that the Bank 2 MAP Sensor is working properly.
  Is the Bank 2 MAP Sensor operating properly?
  
  Yes
  - End of diagnosis.
  No
  - Replace the Bank 2 MAP Sensor.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
